Just because you know a million strategies to help you avoid the season’s sweets and treats doesn’t mean that you actually want to use them.
What’s the point of looking good if the process makes you miserable?
Can we just admit that enjoying the season’s flavors and treats is fun? The whole “eat to live” message is great buuuuut… having fun with your food is OK. You are a human- not a robot.
So, in the interest of having some fun with the season’s flavors and still looking and feeling amazing, here’s a recipe for you to try.
Pumpkin Spice Green Smoothie
- 2 handfuls, Super Greens
- ¾ cup Almond Milk
- ½ cup Canned Pumpkin
- 3 Dates (soaked in water overnight)
- ½ cup ice
- Pumpkin Spice to taste
- Blend milk and greens until smooth.
- Add the pumpkin and dates to the blender.
- Blend again until smoothie.
- Add the pumpkin spice and ice.
- Blend until smooth.
This great tasting smoothie gives you two servings of veggies and a delicious dose of pumpkin spice.
